Pro Bono Program

Navigating & Advising Litigants at Federal Claims Court

Pro bono programs are not just a privilege of large law firms, but can be applied effectively by boutique firms like our own. Ditthavong, Steiner, & Mlotkowski’s pro bono program focuses on advising litigants at the Court of Federal Claims in activities ranging from intellectual property to employment litigation. We strive to help litigants navigate the federal court system and to effectively communicate with the Courts and the U.S. Government. Our work benefits disadvantaged individuals, as well as the public at large.

DSM attorneys and partners have engaged in discovery, preparation, and review of legal documents, and have dealt with the Court, Agencies, and the Department of Justice in furtherance of litigants’ interest with the same enthusiasm and drive as high paying clients. Whenever DSM accepts pro bono projects, a partner will be assigned to supervise the case in conjunction with a lead associate.

We accept pro bono projects through the Pro Bono/Attorney Referral Pilot Program in the Court of Federal Claims.
