Shivani Kaul Gupta - Associate
Ms. Gupta concentrates her practice in patent preparation and prosecution. She has drafted hundreds of patent applications for domestic and foreign companies and also has experience with trademark prosecution and copyright matters.
In addition to patent prosecution, Ms. Gupta has experience in a broad range of general corporate matters, including corporate formation, venture capital and mergers and acquisitions. She has represented privately-held companies in all stages of development and across a diverse range of industries including information technology, life sciences, healthcare and medical devices.
Specifically, Ms. Gupta has conducted due diligence on material agreements and intellectual property matters in connection with public and private mergers (including a $6.2 billion public-to-public merger) and acquisitions of capital stock and assets.
Ms. Gupta was formerly with the firms of Brown Rudnick and Foley & Lardner.
